Geese on the Barn

One of the things that I absolutely love about living where we live is that we often have the chance to see wildlife right in our yard. I've seen deer, wild turkeys, skunks, groundhogs, and snapping turtles, just to name a few. I never fail to be thrilled with the sighting of animals around our home, though.

The other morning, my dad called me (they are back from Florida and live next door), and told me to go outside and look on the barn roof. There on the roof were two geese. I had to laugh as our dog barked up at the geese and the geese honked down at our dog!

Unexpected nature study is always a blessing!
