Curriculum for the 2010-2011 School Year - Eighth Grade

Most of the books were locked up behind glass doors; but there was one book-case left open, containing every thing that could be needed in the way of elementary works...In this room, too, there was a cabinet piano, quite new and of superior tone; also an easel for painting, and a pair of globes.

Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte

As I've spent hours and hours researching, planning, and organizing for the new school year, I've often thought of the above quote from Jane Eyre.  While I have a stack of curriculum materials for each of my children for the coming year, Jane Eyre found that she had every thing she needed for all of the elementary years on one book-case.  Obviously, Jane was not spending her time browsing homeschool catalogs!

So, without further ado, here is the curriculum list for my oldest child.  The full list is also included under the Curriculum tab at the top of my blog.  The permanent Curriculum Page includes links to all of the curriculum listed below.
