My wonderful husband has an equally wonderful twin sister, affectionately known here as "Auntie Kim." Last week-end we had a family party for Kevin and Kim. We ate pizza, Jo Jos, and ice cream cake. We talked, laughed, and played Mexican Train. The older I get, the more I appreciate the blessings of family and simple family gatherings.
Even though Kevin is 41 now, his mom and sister still remind him (teasingly) to let Kim blow out her OWN candle. I guess Kevin has a long history of blowing out all of the candles. With age comes maturity, though, and he only blew out his own candle this year!
