During a quiet afternoon this week when all of the children were working on their school work, Amber crept out of her bedroom and quietly told me to look out the window. I was delighted to see a group of five deer out my kitchen window. Usually our dog sees the deer first and scares them away quickly with her crazed barking. The dog was fast asleep and my daughter's reaction to the deer didn't serve to alert Hershey (our dog) to the deer. I was even able to take some pictures of the beautiful creatures.
